Development of TVET Pedagogical Competences and Qualification
in Palestinian Universities
( TVETCQ )

  Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie organized a training program in the design professional skills of the vocational training program targeting the team, Mohammad Almasri, Wafa’ Hinawi and Marwa Albawab, from the University College of Applied Sciences in Gaza.

 The training, lasted for three days, came as a supplementary event to the activities of the capacity building project in the Development of TVET Pedagogical Competences and Qualification in the Palestinian Universities (TVETCQ) which is funded by the Palestinian European Cooperation Fund  Erasmus+.

 The training program, implemented by the PTUK staff Dr. Nuha Iter - the Project Director, Dr. Mahmoud Ismaeel, and Murad De’meh in addition to Mr. Jallal Salayemeh from the Polytechnic University, included the review of the Palestinian cases in multiple fields of the vocational training, the discussion of its elements particularly the skills specification that are needed by the labor market and the program’s outcomes, goals, target groups, the enrollment standards, the time period, and the systematic training based on Andragogy methodology as well as other skills and measures.
